25 Prayers Against the Lust of the Eyes

Powerful warfare prayers to the lust of the eyes...

Scripture for Meditation: "“I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I gaze at a virgin?”" — Job 31:1

Introduction: The "lust of the eyes" is one of the three primary avenues of temptation mentioned in 1 John 2:16. It is the desire to possess what we see, whether it's a person, a possession, or a lifestyle. It fuels covetousness, pornography, and materialism. Victory comes when we, like Job, make a covenant with our eyes, choosing to guard what we look at and to keep our hearts pure.
