25 Prayers for the Salvation of Your Family

Scripture for Meditation: "“And they said, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.’”" — Acts 16:31

Introduction: There is no greater burden or more important prayer than the prayer for the salvation of our unsaved family members. It can be discouraging to pray for years without seeing a change, but we must not give up. God's promise is for you "and your household." Let's stand on that promise and contend for the souls of our loved ones.

Prayer Points:

1. Father, I thank You for Your promise that my household will be saved. I stand on that promise today.

2. I bring my unsaved family members [mention their names] before You. I cry out for their salvation.

3. I come against the spirit of blindness that the god of this world has used to blind their minds.

4. In the name of Jesus, I bind the strongman of unbelief and rebellion over their lives.

5. I pray that You would send godly laborers across their path to share the Gospel with them.

6. I pray for them to have a personal encounter with Your love and Your power.

7. I pray for their hearts of stone to be replaced with hearts of flesh, soft and receptive to You.

8. I cancel every assignment of the enemy to take them to a Christ-less eternity.

9. I loose them from the grip of any sin, addiction, or deception that is holding them captive.

10. I pray that they would have dreams and visions of Jesus.

11. I pray for circumstances to arise in their lives that would cause them to see their need for a Savior.

12. I declare that my family is a family of God. We will all serve the Lord.

13. I pray for the grace to be a loving and patient witness to them, not a judgmental one.

14. I break every generational curse of idolatry or unbelief in my family line.

15. I declare that the seeds of prayer I have sown for them will produce a harvest of salvation.

16. I will not give up. I will stand in the gap for my family until I see them saved.

17. I speak to the wall of resistance around their hearts and I command it to crumble.

18. I pray that they would have a "Damascus Road" experience.

19. I thank You in advance for the great celebration we will have in heaven together.

20. I declare that my household is a household of faith.

21. I pray for their ears to be opened to the truth of the Gospel.

22. I bind the spirit of pride that keeps them from admitting their need for God.

23. I declare that my loved ones are being drawn by the Holy Spirit right now.

24. I cover my unsaved family members with the blood of Jesus.

25. Thank You, Lord, for Your relentless love that is pursuing my family. Amen.

Closing Declaration: Father, I thank You for hearing my prayers today. I believe that even as I have lifted these concerns to You, You are already at work on my behalf. I receive Your answers by faith and declare that nothing is impossible for You. Let Your name be glorified in my life as these prayers come to pass. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
