25 Prayers for Your Church's Worship Team

Scripture for Meditation: "“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.”" — John 4:23

Introduction: The worship team, including singers and musicians, are not performers; they are lead-worshippers. Their role is to lead the congregation into the presence of God. This is a high calling and a place of intense spiritual warfare. Our prayers for them are essential for their protection, anointing, and effectiveness.

9. We pray that they would decrease, so that You, Lord, would increase during our worship services.

12. We declare that our worship services are open heavens, where signs, wonders, and healing take place.

13. We pray for more anointed and committed musicians and singers to join the team.

14. We pray against any technical difficulties that would distract from the worship experience.

15. We pray that the worship would prepare the hearts of the people to receive the Word.

16. We declare that our worship is a weapon of spiritual warfare that pushes back darkness.

17. We pray for the team to have a heart of humility and teachability.

18. We bless our worship team. We honor them and we are grateful for their ministry.

19. We pray that they would have a pure heart and clean hands.

20. We cancel any assignment of the enemy to bring division or scandal to the team.

21. We pray for them to have a balanced life, with time for family and rest.

22. We declare that our church is a house of praise and worship.

23. We pray for a new sound to be released from our church.
