Introduction: Gossip and slander are a destructive fire that can ruin reputations, destroy relationships, and divide churches. It is "corrupting talk" that gives no grace to the hearer. The spirit of gossip is a demonic power that operates through an uncontrolled tongue. We must be vigilant to both avoid speaking gossip and to refuse to listen to it.

Prayer Points:

  1. Father, I repent for any time I have participated in gossip, slander, or corrupting talk. Set a guard over my mouth.

  2. In the name of Jesus, I renounce and reject the spirit of gossip and slander.
