Scripture for Meditation: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds." — 2 Corinthians 10:4
Introduction: Divine discernment is the supernatural ability to distinguish between truth and error, between good and evil, and between the Spirit of God and demonic spirits. It is a spiritual sense of smell. The enemy will try to attack your discernment with spirits of deception, of confusion, and of a "I can't tell what's going on" blindness. You must wage war for your divine discernment.
Warfare Decrees:
-
In the name of Jesus, I take authority over my need for divine discernment.
-
I decree that I am not a deceived or a confused person; I am a discerning, a wise, and a "testing the spirits" child of God.
-
I bind every spirit of deception, of confusion, of spiritual blindness, and of a "I can't tell what's going on" mentality.
-
I loose the spirit of divine discernment, of supernatural insight, of a powerful "testing the spirits to see whether they are from God" anointing into my life.
-
I cancel every assignment of the enemy to use deception to lead me into error and into destruction.
-
I decree that I am a person who is "able to distinguish good from evil."
-
I plead the blood of Jesus over my spiritual eyes and over my spiritual ears, which are the source of my discernment.
-
I decree that my life is a life of "do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God."
-
I uproot every seed of a "I'm not very discerning" or of a "it's all so confusing" mentality.
-
I will not be a person who is a slave to deception or to confusion.
-
I am an overcomer. I am a person of divine discernment.
-
I bind every spirit of pride that would make me think I don't need discernment.
-
I decree that my life is a testimony of the power of divine discernment to protect me from harm.
-
I declare that my mind is being renewed to think thoughts of discernment, not of confusion.
-
I bind every spirit of unbelief that is at the root of spiritual blindness.
-
I take back the ground that the enemy has stolen through deception and through confusion.
-
I decree that my life is marked by a spirit of consistent and supernatural discernment.
-
I will not be a victim of a "deceived" life.
-
I declare that my heart is full of faith for divine discernment.
-
I bind every spirit of passivity that would keep me from actively seeking discernment.
-
I am a child of God, and I have been given a spirit of wisdom and of revelation.
-
I decree that my season of confusion is over, and my season of divine discernment has come.
-
I am a warrior, and I am fighting for discernment.
-
I am a person of discernment.
-
I seal my victory for a life of walking in supernatural, consistent, and God-glorifying divine discernment in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Closing Declaration: I seal these declarations with the blood of Jesus. What I have bound on earth is bound in heaven. What I have loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. I stand in the victory of Christ, and I declare that the enemy's plans are destroyed. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
