You're Loved Deeper Than You Know - Daily Devotional

[HOOK] Have you ever felt like you're just going through the motions with God? Maybe your prayers feel routine, your Bible reading feels distant, and you wonder if there's something more. You're not alone—and that longing in your heart is actually an invitation to go deeper. [REFLECTION] Think about the deepest relationship you have. It didn't happen overnight, did it? It grew through time spent together, through honest conversations, through moments of vulnerability and trust. Your relationship with God works the same way. Paul's prayer in Ephesians reveals something beautiful: God's love has dimensions we haven't fully explored yet. It's wide enough to reach every broken place. It's long enough to cover your entire story. It's high enough to lift you above your circumstances. It's deep enough to meet you in your darkest moments. But here's what strikes me most—Paul says we need power to grasp this love. Growing deeper isn't about trying harder; it's about opening ourselves to receive more. It's about lingering in His presence instead of rushing through. It's about believing that the God who created galaxies genuinely delights in knowing you. Today, God isn't asking for your performance. He's asking for your presence. He wants you to experience His love not as a doctrine to believe, but as a reality to live in. [STEPS] 1. Spend five unhurried minutes today simply telling God you want to know His love more deeply 2. Write down three specific ways God has shown His love to you this week 3. Replace one distraction today with a moment of gratitude for His presence [PRAYER] Father, I confess I've only scratched the surface of Your love. Awaken my heart to experience the fullness of who You are. Help me slow down and receive what You're so eager to give. Root me deeply in Your unfailing love today. In Jesus' name, Amen. [CLOSE] What might be holding you back from fully receiving the depth of God's love for you?
