In those moments, it's easy to wonder if anyone is truly in charge. [REFLECTION] Here's a truth that can anchor your soul: nothing in your life has ever surprised God. Not the phone call that changed everything. Not the betrayal you didn't see coming. Not the door that slammed shut when you were sure it would open. God isn't pacing heaven, wringing His hands over your situation. He declared the end from the beginning—which means He already knows how your story unfolds. His sovereignty doesn't mean life will be painless or that we'll understand every chapter. But it does mean that no chaos, no crisis, no enemy can overpower His purposes for you. The same God who holds galaxies in place is holding your life together, even when it feels like everything is falling apart. Joseph spent years in prison before he saw God's plan unfold. David was anointed king but spent years running for his life. Their stories remind us that God's timing and methods often look nothing like we expect—but His faithfulness never fails.
