Walking by Faith, Not by Sight - Daily Devotional

Faith requires us to trust what we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as "confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." This doesn't mean faith is blind—it means faith sees beyond current circumstances to God's unchanging character and promises. When the Israelites stood at the Red Sea with Pharaoh's army approaching, they couldn't see how God would deliver them. When Gideon faced the Midianite army with just 300 men, logic said it was impossible. But God specializes in impossible situations. Walking by faith means taking the next step even when you can't see the staircase. It means trusting God's plan even when it doesn't make sense to you. Today, what step is God asking you to take in faith?
