25 Prayers to Sharpen Your Spiritual Senses

Scripture for Meditation: "“But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.”" — Hebrews 5:14

Introduction: Just as we have five natural senses, we also have spiritual senses: the ability to see in the spirit, to hear God's voice, to taste His goodness, to smell the aroma of Christ, and to feel His presence. These senses are often dull in believers, but they can be sharpened through prayer and practice. Let's ask God to open our spiritual senses so we can perceive the spiritual realities around us.

Prayer Points:

1. Father, I thank You that I am a spiritual being. I ask You to awaken and sharpen my spiritual senses.

2. Let me see angels at work, and let me see the schemes of the enemy so I can pray effectively.

3. I pray for my spiritual ears. Open my ears to hear Your still, small voice with clarity.

4. Help me to distinguish Your voice from the voice of the enemy and the voice of my own flesh.

5. I pray for my spiritual sense of taste. Let me "taste and see that the LORD is good."

6. I pray for my spiritual sense of smell. Let me be able to discern the sweet aroma of Christ and also the stench of demonic presences.

24. Thank You, Lord, for opening up a new dimension of my walk with You. Amen.

Closing Declaration: Father, I thank You for hearing my prayers today. I believe that even as I have lifted these concerns to You, You are already at work on my behalf. I receive Your answers by faith and declare that nothing is impossible for You. Let Your name be glorified in my life as these prayers come to pass. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
