Scripture for Meditation: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds." — 2 Corinthians 10:4
Introduction: A church's building and facilities are the physical home of God's presence and ministry. The enemy will try to attack your church's building with spirits of disrepair, of lack, and of a "it's just a building" mentality. We must wage war for our church's building, decreeing that it will be a well-maintained, debt-free, and powerful hub for ministry.
Warfare Decrees:
-
In the name of Jesus, we stand in the gap for the building and the facilities of our church.
-
We dedicate our church's building to the Lord. It is His house, a house of prayer for all nations.
-
We bind every spirit of disrepair, of lack, of a "spirit of poverty," and of a "it's just a building" attitude.
-
We loose a spirit of excellence, of provision, of supernatural debt-cancellation, and of a powerful "hub for ministry" anointing upon our church's building.
-
I cancel every assignment of the enemy to use our building to be a source of distraction or of financial burden.
-
We pray for our church's facilities team and for our volunteers. We loose a spirit of wisdom, of skill, and of joyful service upon them.
-
We plead the blood of Jesus over our church's building, cleansing it from any past sin and from any demonic influence.
-
We decree that our church is a place where our building is a tool for ministry, not a monument to man.
-
We uproot every seed of a "we can't afford it" or of a "our building is not good enough" mentality.
-
We loose the angels of God to go and to do warfare over our church's property.
-
We are overcomers for our church's building.
-
We decree that our church is known for its beautiful, functional, and welcoming facilities.
-
We bind every spirit of accident, of fire, or of vandalism that would try to harm our building.
-
We declare that our church is a source of generous giving to maintain and to improve our facilities.
-
We bind every spirit of witchcraft that would try to put a curse on our church's property.
-
We decree that our church has a culture of "taking care of God's house."
-
We take back any ground the enemy has gained in our church's facilities.
-
We declare that our church is a place where our building is always ready for ministry.
-
We will not be a church that is a slave to a building fund.
-
We decree that our church's building is a testimony of the faithfulness and provision of God.
-
We bind every spirit of strife that would try to create conflict over our building.
-
We declare that our church is a blessing to our community through our facilities.
-
We are warriors for a debt-free and ministry-focused church building.
-
We are a church that is a good steward of its resources.
-
We seal the protection, the blessing, and the powerful ministry anointing of our church's building and facilities in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Closing Declaration: I seal these declarations with the blood of Jesus. What I have bound on earth is bound in heaven. What I have loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. I stand in the victory of Christ, and I declare that the enemy's plans are destroyed. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
