Jesus compared the kingdom of heaven to a mustard seed—the smallest of all seeds—that grows into a tree large enough for birds to nest in its branches (Matthew 13:31-32). He chose a teenage girl from Nazareth to carry the Savior of the world. He selected twelve ordinary men to launch a movement that would transform the globe. The beauty of small beginnings lies not in their size but in their potential for growth under God's hand. When David faced Goliath, he didn't have an army—just five smooth stones and unshakeable faith. When the widow brought her offering, it wasn't much—just two copper coins—but Jesus declared it greater than all the large gifts combined (Mark 12:41-44). God doesn't measure success by human standards. While we count numbers, He counts faithfulness. While we focus on immediate impact, He sees eternal significance. Your small beginning matters because it represents your "yes" to God's invitation to partner with Him.
