Introduction: The spirit of compromise is a demonic spirit that seeks to get you to lower your standards, to water down your convictions, and to make a "deal with the devil." It is a spirit of the "gray area" that tells you that a little bit of sin won't hurt. It is a spirit that is a master of the "slippery slope." This spirit must be bound, and a spirit of holy and uncompromising conviction must be loosed.

Warfare Decrees:

  1. In the name of Jesus, I come against the spirit of compromise.

  2. I renounce and reject you, spirit of compromise, of a "gray area" morality, and of a "lukewarm" heart.

  3. I decree that I am not a person of compromise; I am a person of conviction, of holiness, and of a "no compromise" commitment to the Word of God.

  4. I bind the strongman of compromise that has been trying to erode my standards.

  5. I loose the spirit of holiness, of a righteous fear of the Lord, and of a bold and uncompromising stand for the truth into my life.

  6. I cancel every assignment of the enemy to use compromise to lead me into sin and into bondage.

  7. I repent for every time I have compromised my convictions or have lowered my standards.

  8. I plead the blood of Jesus over my heart, cleansing it from all compromise and from all worldliness.

  9. I decree that my life is a life of walking in the narrow way that leads to life.

  10. I uproot every seed of a "everybody's doing it" or of a "it's not that big of a deal" mentality.

  11. I am an overcomer. I have victory over the spirit of compromise.

  12. I bind every spirit of people-pleasing that leads to compromise.

  13. I decree that my life is a testimony of the power of God to keep me from falling.

  14. I declare that my life is marked by a clear and unwavering line between right and wrong.

  15. I bind every spirit of deception that works with compromise.

  16. I take back the ground that I have lost through past compromises.

  17. I decree that my life is a story of being a person of integrity and of holy character.

  18. I will not be a victim of a "slow fade" into sin.

  19. I declare that my heart is fully committed to obeying God, no matter the cost.

  20. I bind every spirit of fear of man that is at the root of compromise.

  21. I am a child of God, and I am called to be holy as He is holy.

  22. I decree that my season of compromise is over, and my season of consecration has come.

  23. I am a warrior, and I am holding my ground.

  24. I am a person of conviction.

  25. I seal my total and permanent freedom from the spirit of compromise in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
