30 Decrees to Pray and Declare Victory Over Your Children's Friendships

Scripture for Meditation: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds." — 2 Corinthians 10:4

Introduction: Your children's friendships will be one of the most powerful shaping forces in their lives. The enemy knows this, and he will try to bring ungodly, unholy, and unwise friendships into their lives to lead them astray. As a parent-priest, you must wage war for your children's friendships, decreeing that they will be surrounded by a company of godly and of destiny-aligned peers.

Warfare Decrees:

1. In the name of Jesus, I stand in the gap for the friendships of my children.

2. I dedicate their friendships to the Lord. They will walk with the wise and will become wise.

3. I bind every spirit of ungodly counsel, of peer pressure, and of wrong association.

4. I decree that my children have a spirit of discernment to choose their friends wisely.

5. I cancel every assignment of the enemy to use a "bad company" to corrupt my children's good character.

6. I pray for my children's friends. I pray for their salvation and for them to be a positive influence.

7. I plead the blood of Jesus over my children's social lives.

8. I decree that my children are protected from all bullying, from all exclusion, and from all toxic friendships.

9. I uproot every seed of a desire to be "popular" at any cost.

10. I loose the angels of God to go and to orchestrate divine connections for my children.

11. I am an overcomer for my children's friendships.

12. I decree that my children are leaders and positive influencers among their peers.

13. I bind every spirit of strife and of drama in their friendships.

14. I declare that my children are a good friend to others—loyal, kind, and encouraging.

15. I bind every spirit of sexual immorality and of experimentation that operates through peer groups.

16. I decree that my communication with my children about their friends is open and is honest.

17. I take back any ground the enemy has gained in my children's social lives.

18. I declare that my children are surrounded by a "holy huddle" of friends who are on fire for God.

19. I will not be a passive parent. I am an engaged and a warring parent.

20. I decree that my children's hearts are being guarded from all ungodly influences.

21. I bind every spirit of loneliness that would make them desperate for any friend.

22. I declare that my children are secure in their own identity and do not need to find it in a group.

23. I am my children's greatest intercessor.

24. I am a wise parent.

25. I seal the protection, the blessing, and the godly outcome of my children's friendships in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Closing Declaration: I seal these declarations with the blood of Jesus. What I have bound on earth is bound in heaven. What I have loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. I stand in the victory of Christ, and I declare that the enemy's plans are destroyed. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
