Introduction: The spirit of gossip is a demonic spirit that uses the tongue to spread rumors, to reveal secrets, and to slander others. It is a spirit of a "have you heard" attitude, of a character assassination, and of a "whispering" campaign. It is a joy-killer and a relationship-destroyer. This spirit must be bound, and a spirit of a blessing, of an encouragement, and of a "speaking the truth in a love" anointing must be loosed.

Warfare Decrees:

  1. In the name of Jesus, I come against the spirit of gossip.

  2. I renounce and reject you, spirit of gossip, of a slander, and of a character assassination.

  3. I decree that I am not a gossip; I am a person who blesses, who encourages, and who speaks life.

  4. I bind the strongman of gossip that has been trying to use my tongue to destroy others.

  5. I loose the spirit of a blessing, of an encouragement, and of a powerful "let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths" anointing into my life.

  6. I cancel every assignment of the enemy to use gossip to make me a divisive and a destructive person.

  7. I repent for every time I have gossiped, have slandered someone, or have had a critical spirit.

  8. I plead the blood of Jesus over my tongue, cleansing it from all gossip and from all slander.

  14. I declare that my mind is being renewed to think thoughts of a blessing, not of a gossip.

  16. I take back the relationships, the trust, and the peace that this spirit has stolen.

  17. I decree that my life is marked by a spirit of a joyful and of a consistent blessing of others.

  18. I will not be a victim of a "gossiping" life.

  19. I declare that my heart is full of the love of God, which does not rejoice at a wrongdoing.
